So, 07/07/07 turned out to be a doomsday for electronics around the home.  Somehow I managed to have a wheel motor freeze up on the Roomba.  On the very same day I managed to have my cordless drill spew smoke.  I've already replaced the drill, it was 4 or 5 years old, so no big deal.  It's lived a productive life.  I'm a little upset about the Roomba though.  We've had it about a year and a half.  It does get abused with us having the dog and all.  I'm not sure if I'll try to replace the broken part and see how long it keeps going or just buy a new one and keep this one for spare parts.  Either way, there is no doubt that the Roomba is handy.  Oh well, life goes on.
